Sparkling wine with Protected Designation of Origin.

Production Area

The vineyards are located in the province of Treviso within the Prosecco DOC area. From the hills of morainic origin the production area expands onto the plains with soils of alluvial origin of medium texture.

Vinification

The whole grapes are introduced into the pneumatic press and the must obtained from their soft pressing, after an initial first racking, is placed in temperature-controlled tanks, where it remains until it is used to produce the sparkling wine.

Production

The must, added with yeasts selected by Casa Gheller, is placed in temperature-controlled tanks where fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15-16°C. This enhances all the aromas of the harvest. Once the desired alcohol content and sugar content has been reached, fermentation is stopped by refrigeration and, after a short soaking period, the sparkling wine is ready for bottling.

Pairings

It is an aperitif wine, however suitable at all times of day; it can accompany delicate starters of shellfish and molluscs. Serving temperature 8-10°C.
