Description

It has a brilliant straw yellow colour, with a fine, delicate bubble; the nose is reminiscent of rennet apple and white peach. The taste is fresh and fragrant with a particularly fruity aromatic return.

Classification

Sparkling wine with protected designation of origin, Brut.

Production area

D.O.C.G. area between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. This is a hilly area of morainic origin with limestone soils mixed with marl and in some cases also limestone-clay.

Vinification

The whole grapes are introduced into the pneumatic press and the must obtained from their soft pressing, after an initial racking, is placed in temperature-controlled tanks, where it remains until it is used for the production of the sparkling wine.

Production

The must, added with yeasts selected by Casa Gheller, is placed in temperature-controlled tanks where fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15-16°C. This enhances all the aromas of the harvest. Once the desired alcohol content and sugar content has been reached, the fermentation is stopped by refrigeration and, after a short resting period, the sparkling wine is ready for bottling.

Pairings

It is an excellent aperitif. It can accompany tasty appetisers and pairs well throughout a meal, especially with fish dishes. Serving temperature 6-8 °C.
